What funding for which laboratory...

The 3 co-accredited universities have decided that their doctoral contracts will be awarded exclusively to the laboratories for which they are official support institutions.

What funding for which laboratory...

HDRs from the Collège de France are eligible for doctoral contracts from Paris Sciences et Lettres. In addition, as part of a partnership set up between Sorbonne University and the Collège de France, the ED3C may award Sorbonne University doctoral contracts for projects involving co-supervision between an HDR from the Collège de France and an HDR from Sorbonne University.

Institut Pasteur research teams are eligible for "Fléchés Pasteur" doctoral contracts from the University of Paris Cité, which are awarded on the basis of the rankings of the various doctoral schools hosting these teams. The HDRs of the Institut Pasteur who are affiliated to the ED3C must therefore follow the Doctoral Contract Allocation Process.

The Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale (FRM) awards doctoral contracts to excellent candidates with excellent HDRs, for projects in line with the objectives of the foundation. The doctoral contract projects may cover any area of biology and health research.

The FRM asks the directors of the doctoral schools to submit their applications in the spring. This deadline implies a specific procedure for the selection of the 2 candidates, whose detailed information will be sent to the FRM by the ED3C (see the relevant section in the submission of doctoral projects).

Important point: This is a highly competitive national procedure. Therefore, ED3C will apply the same selection criteria as the FRM, i.e. in addition to the excellence of the candidates, the quality of the PhD supervisor (publications, research contracts, supervision and publication level of the last PhD supervised) and the PhD project.

Please note that this year the FRM stipulates that a student with a Doctor/Pharmacist profile can only apply for this call or a« Poste de thèse pour internes et assistants ». It also specifies that a « Équipe FRM », winner of a call « Amorçage de jeunes équipes », « Alzheimer », « Maladies Neurodégénératives », « Environnement-Santé » or « Médecine Réparatrice » with funding currently underway cannot present a candidate.

The Fondation pour la Recherche sur Alzheimer (FRA) proposes to award two fundings within the framework of the Doctoral Contract Allocation Process. The research financed by these contracts must fall within the following scope: "Any research related to the physiopathological mechanisms, diagnostic markers and therapeutic approach of Alzheimer disease and related syndromes".

If you consider that your project falls within this framework, please tick the "FRA" box when submitting it.
