This application file must be completed and submitted on ADUM by the candidate with the help of the thesis director.

Presentation of the application file

By completing the downloadable file, the application file will be submitted online via ADUM . It will be prepared jointly with the thesis director. To prepare it, you will need the following items:

  • Information about the thesis director and, if applicable, the co-director (including: 3 best publications over the last 5 years, list of doctoral students currently supervised, doctoral students previously supervised over the last 5 years and their publications).
  • Project summary (max: 1500 characters including spaces)
  • detailed description of the thesis project  (max 3 pages, including:  objectives, approaches and methods, provisional progress)
  • CV  of the candidate
  • List of the candidate's laboratory internships
  • grades obtained at Licence and Master levels (mandatory). Candidates whose Master 2 is in progress are required to email their grades and final M2 ranking to ed3c@sorbonne-universite.fr as soon as they are available.

You will also have the opportunity (optional) to provide the contact details of 2 referees who could support your application with a letter of recommendation

MPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE RESEARCH SUPERVISOR

The list of ED3C thesis projects is freely accessible on ADUM. This free access makes your project visible, enabling applicants to contact you.

However, although it is difficult to imagine a candidate submitting an application without your consent, it is possible that several people have applied for your project. You must therefore validate the application of the student you have selected by logging on to ADUM before 2 June 2024.
