The auditions will take place on July 4, 5, 6, 2023.

Interview

Candidates selected for the interview will give an oral presentation of 10 minutes. This presentation must include the candidate's background (one slide), then the research work carried out as part of a laboratory training period (Master 2 internship or equivalent), then the PhD project.

This presentation will be followed by a 10 minute discussion with the jury.

Candidates may perform their oral presentation in French or English. The same langage will be used by the jury during the questions.

Evaluation criteria

In their deliberations, the members of the jury will pay particular attention to the following 3 criteria:

1) The Candidate Curriculum : quality of training and academic results (grades and rankings in bachelor's and master's degrees, other diplomas, ...), scientific research experience gained through internships (bachelor's, master1's, master2's internships, other laboratory research stays, etc.), geographical mobility.

2) The quality of the scientific project (originality, feasibility within the framework of a PhD, innovative nature, etc.), of the supervisor (publications of the supervisor, in particular with doctoral students supervised in recent years) and of the research team.

3) The quality of the candidate's interview with the jury (ability to answer questions in a reasoned manner, reflection on the work done during the internship, knowledge of the bibliography and methodology of the thesis project, ...).
