• Doctoral student representatives take part in all the ED's board (Council, Council in restricted formation, allocation of doctoral contracts).
• They put forward the doctoral students' requests, proposals and criticisms, whether concerning funding, training, scientific activities or the ED's policy.
• Doctoral student representatives may also be contacted by any doctoral student who wishes to bring to the ED's attention a complaint or request relating to non-compliance with the Theses Charter. They act as mediators between the doctoral student and the ED.
• They are involved in organising the ED3C scientific days and the Roscoff conference.

You will be asked to elect 5 representatives from all years. ED3C would like to see a balanced representation of men and women and of the 3 ED3C parent universities. This is why, when you vote, we will ask you to put forward 2 names of male doctoral students and 3 names of female doctoral students, or vice versa, as well as at least 1 doctoral student from each university (SU, UPC, PSL).
